The latest addition to the Smoky Mountain Modern collection is the newly-constructed Azalea Creek Falls home. Featuring giant windows that bring the magnificent view inside, this home is feature-rich, with free and fast internet, smart TVs, a ping-pong table, home theater, ribbon-flame fireplace, and coming in Spring 2020 are a custom fire pit and hot tub. 

 

From this mountainside basecamp, you are less than 15 minutes from downtown Bryson City, NC and 20 minutes from the Nantahala Outdoor Center, the popular home to whitewater rafting, zip-lining, and many more outdoor adventure activities. Take the family tubing Deep Creek, ride a bike at Tsali, go kayaking at Fontana,  or drive the Tail of Dragon, all with amazing convenience from this luxury vacation home.

There are comfy beds for sleeping six (with 2 king beds and 1 queen bed) and high speed internet with no data usage limits. Come to work or come to play, as each bedroom has its own SmartTV and its own bathroom for privacy. The main floor master bedroom opens to its own deck with modern, cushioned chairs that add a sleek element to their Adirondack-inspired origins. A second king bedroom on this floor is just off the kitchen.

 

The main level living space is quite an amazing great room with a modern gas, ribbon-flame fireplace and wall of windows.  The modern stone of the towering hearth compliment well with the sleek glass-tile walls and floating shelves of the modern kitchen. Be sure to wave your hand under the shelf to magically illuminate the undershelf LED accent lights. The quartz, waterfall-style island shows how clean, modern styling can be fully on-trend and functional with a convenient pop-up data station with extra electrical outlets and USB ports.  The dining room seats 6 comfortably in addition to the 4 counter stools at the island.

 

The downstairs is centered on a recreational room with a ping pong table and walkout to a patio area that by late-spring 2020 will feature a custom fire pit area and hot tub. The lower level living space also has a full bathroom and a queen bedroom, but the real show-stopping feature is the home theater room with thundering surround-sound and an oversized 4k SmartTV.

 

Housekeeping / Hot Tub / Amenities Fee of $140 is added as one-time charge to all stays.

 

Sleeping Arragements:

 

Main Floor - king master bedroom has private bathroom with dual sinks. This bedroom has a large closet and access out to its own section of deck. Second king bedroom has a private bath and is recommend especially for guests who prefer it slightly cooler in the summer or warmer in the winter.

 

Lower Level - queen bedroom has a bathroom just outside the door.
